My passion for travel began in 2008, when I sailed on my very first cruise while working at Carnival Cruise Lines. That experience opened the doors for me, and I was deeply impacted by the overwhelming joy I witnessed from the guests around me. From that moment, I knew I wanted to dedicate my career to creating those same unforgettable experiences for others.
My professional journey actually started a year earlier, in 2007, when I joined Carnival Cruise Lines as a Reservations Agent. There, I built the foundation of my career and developed valuable skills that continue to shape the way I serve my clients today.
In 2011, I moved to Norwegian Cruise Line as a Reservations Agent, later transitioning into a Help Desk Agent role. These positions sharpened my customer service and problem-solving abilities while allowing me to maintain strong guest relationships.
Motivated by my passion for sales, in 2013 I took on the role of Sales Supervisor at one of the largest cruise travel agencies. Leading a team of agents, I coached them on sales strategies, phone etiquette, and product knowledge—always managing the team as if it were my own business.
By 2016, I transitioned to a storefront role at a large retail travel agency, where I expanded my expertise to all-inclusive resorts, escorted tours, safari adventures, and tailor-made travel experiences. In 2018, I returned to a major cruise agency as Manager of the Land and Air Department, overseeing seamless travel add-ons that complemented cruise vacations.
Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of sailing on more than 60 cruises, exploring Europe extensively, and becoming an expert in destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. These first-hand experiences allow me to design trips with a true insider’s perspective.
In January 2023, fueled by years of experience and a loyal base of clients who have followed me throughout my career, I launched my own independent agency: Travel by Santos. Today, I proudly cater to travelers of all walks of life, offering personalized journeys by land, sea, or air—taking you anywhere in the world your heart desires.
